Delosperma congestum

continental : We suggest to position the the Delosperma congestum in a partially shaded place, which is exposed to direct solar rays only a few hours a day.
These plants are cultivated in the apartment or in a temperate greenhouse, they can’t stand the cold; if the autumnal temperatures are quite mild we can leave them outside, but only when the minimum temperatures are above 15°C.

alpine : Water abundantly with 1-2 glasses of water approximately every 3-4 weeks, wetting the ground deep down; let’s always wait for the soil to dry before watering again.

mediterranean : Let’s water the the Delosperma congestum frequently with 3-4 glasses of water, even every 1-2 weeks, so that the soil is always damp, but not soaked with water.

Adversity Delosperma congestum : Before the arrival of the cold months an anticoccidiosis treatment is suggested, to avoid that the dry climate, in which these plants spend the winter, may favour the rapid reproduction of these insects.
